LUNA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Established in 2010, our 200-hour teacher training in the vinyasa-based style is a practical approach to yoga philosophy, history and practice.

Explore the numerous yoga postures and their variations, the intricacies of pranayama, the bandhas, and meditation, and conscientiously learn the techniques and practices of yoga. Our teacher training is one weekend per month over a 10 month period, leaving you time to absorb the teachings as well as lead your every day life.

Whether your goal is to become a teacher or simply to explore the yoga practices more deeply, this programme provides the practical tools and foundation for graduates to move into the next phases of their lives and careers with passion, inspiration and direction.

Luna Yoga is a registered Canadian Yoga Alliance CYA-RYS 200 School. All our Teacher Training programs are eligible for accreditation and credits with Canadian Yoga Alliance.

Included in your LYTT program:

Teaching Opportunities

Upon completing your training, you’ll have the opportunity to teach our community classes, receiving valuable feedback and guidance to support you as a new yoga teacher (not mandatory).

*** No refunds will be issued on teacher training payments. Missed training weekends may be credited towards future Luna Yoga teacher trainings, but solely for those weekends that cover the missed subjects and classes.

TAX DEDUCTABLE

Luna Yoga is a recognized Educational Institution by Revenue Quebec and Employment & Social Development Canada. Teacher Training students will receive an official tuition fee receipt for income federal and provincial tax purposes.

SCHOLARSHIP

We are offering a partial scholarship for our teacher training. For details and requirements click here.

  • 1st scholarship: 50% of original price

  • 2nd scholarship: 50% of original price

Submission for the 2025/2026 training scholarship: due February 1st, 2025.
