As we embark on our future selves, we are inspired to be warriors, as we fight through adversity + struggle, we can transform. We are ready to renew, release, and let go. Let’s make a space for joy, growth and a brand new outlook to take off the mat and into our daily lives

Each week in class we’ll focus on a different theme:

Week 1: Roots + Wings — Ready to balance, ground (roots) + expand (wings) our bodies + minds.
Week 2: Planks + Ties — Strengthen our cores with a week of abdominals + twists.
Week 3: Dolphins + Crows — Elbows up! It’s time to get ready for spring
Week 4: Upside Down Wonders — Ready to see things in a whole new light? Sometimes we have to go upside down to get things right!

Join us every month for Luna Lounge, a playful + explorative yoga practice to showcase the many aspects + techniques of yoga. Move with joy + permit yourself to play as members of our faculty spotlight poses, new practices and help you progress on your mat!

In this transformative class, we will explore the foundational principles of mindfulness meditation and the calming practice of Yin Yoga, offering a grounding experience for anyone looking to cultivate mindfulness in their daily life. As we focus on the power of present-moment awareness, breath, and non-judgmental observation, we will target the deep connective tissues of the body through long held held poses, promoting flexibility, releasing tension, and enhancing joint mobility.

Poised to guide others through the practice of yin yoga?

Friday June 6th to Sunday June 8th, 2025

Our Yin Yoga teacher training will delve deep into the unique Yin approach and teach you how to lead others responsibly. Whether you are new to Yin yoga or building on foundational knowledge, you will gain valuable information on this quietly passive yet profoundly challenging practice. Together, we will explore the history, philosophy, principles and many benefits of Yin yoga while uncovering its unique impact on the body. As you explore longer held poses designed to target the deepest tissues of the body: our ligaments, joints, bones and deep fascia networks, you will be introduced to mindfulness techniques that will help to balance body and mind.

Completion of two Yin yoga classes is required as a prerequisite.

Yin - The Energy Body

Dates & Price
Friday 1:30-5pm = 3.5 hours (in-studio)
Friday 7-9:30pm = 2.5 hours (in-studio)
Sat/Sun 1-8pm = 7 x 2 = 14 hours (in-studio)

You can expect a spirited class that blends a modern approach to asana with ancient yogic teachings, powerful breath work, chanting and meditation. Mythic Flow: Salutations to Sun and Shadow

Saturday November 22nd, 1pm to 2:15pm

A skillfully woven 75-minute class that explores the dynamic interplay between light & dark, sun & shadow, and enlightenment & death in yogic philosophy. More than the sum of its parts, this flowing practice will impress its resonant themes upon body, mind and spirit. Expect a mixture of dynamic, muscular work balanced against deep rest. Ideal for all levels, including beginners.

Mythic Slow Flow: Divine Embodiment

Sunday November 23rd, 1pm to 2:15pm
A languid 75-minute class that celebrates the role of the divine feminine in yoga. Explore poses inspired by the goddesses while hearing their mythic backstories. The pacing of this class will be slow and steady with opportunities for longer held Yin-style poses. Ideal for all levels, including beginners.

Continued Education: THE ART OF STORY TELLING

SAT/SUN 1-5:30

Stories, tales, myths, parables and allegories have been used for millennia to communicate universal truths. They have a special way of touching the heart and conjuring a vivid sense of shared experience. At the end of the day, great teachers are great storyteller


Join YuMee Chung for a teacher training module on awakening your innate storytelling ability. Learn how to use stories to support class themes and to weave intention through a practice. Refine your ability to identify and communicate about the universal teachings in your own embodied experiences and build trust in your authentic narrative voice. This workshop will be part lecture, part engaged learning exercises and part practice.

YuMee’s Bio

YuMee Chung, E-RYT-500 YACEP is a former securities lawyer who  left a busy practice to engage more deeply with life. More than 25 years  later, she is one of Canada’s most in-demand yoga instructors, a consultant, and a columnist for the Toronto Star. YuMee is a teacher’s teacher who sits on the faculty of numerous Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher training programs and leads international workshops and retreats. While she is on the speed dial of physicians, CEOs, and A-list celebrities, YuMee is known as a down-to-earth, kind-hearted and relatable teacher who communicates about the most nuanced parts of the yogic journey with clarity, grace, and humour.
